If there’s a true crime enthusiast following this blog, my husband has not murdered me. In all the months that this blog was silent, there wasn’t any heavy drama happening in the background. I did say I was going to take a break from using gadgets and spend less time in front of my computer outside of work due to health issues. And yet I managed to binge-watch Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. 😁
What a pleasant surprise, my blog is still up after being away for months. I even left all auto updates on, which in the past would usually break any website left unattended. This is great, I’m happy with this technological advancement.
My vertigo is a lot less bothersome now. I am feeling almost 100% normal. Unfortunately for people like me with recurring episodes, the lightheadedness never goes away completely when moving the head in certain positions. I still get a brief spinning sensation when tilting my head to the right or looking down. But it’s a huge improvement that I can sleep soundly on my left side again.
In my case, reducing my salt intake, staying hydrated, sleeping better, and using my phone less definitely help manage the vertigo symptoms. I am so unbothered by the new phones coming out because they’re literally a pain in the neck and vertigo-inducing eye strain for me. I love technology but I don’t like what it does to my body.
I’m considering getting a tablet, although I feel like buying a good 14-inch laptop makes much more sense. My current laptop battery has been busted for a while now. If I’m spending money anyway then it better be something I can use for work too. But I’m gonna have to wait until all the holiday shopping madness is over.
I learned that it’s not a good time to buy gadgets close to Christmas. There’s a laptop that I added to my wishlist in September that I saved up for and was planning to purchase this month or sometime in December. But the closer we get to the holidays, the higher the price got instead of dropping despite all the “sales” and coupons they’re giving out. What a ducking scam, I’m not falling for this. So I’ll wait until all the scams die down before buying.
Going back to anime talk. I know I’m not the only one but I’d like to cast my vote of dissatisfaction with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The reason why I rewatched all of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden was to refresh my memory and prepare myself for Boruto. Let’s just say I wasn’t thrilled about it as I had hoped. It felt too soon for Boruto to come out. Bare minimum, my soul might find peace if I could see more Naruto Shippuden episodes with Naruto and Hinata in their new mission clothes.
I finally got back to watching One Piece, had to rewatch it from the beginning too. I am at episode 618 as of today, slowly working my way to the latest release. Slowly, because for some reason One Piece often makes me feel like I’m hitting the wall after watching maybe 3-5 episodes. I’m still committed to seeing it through to the end but let’s just say I’m not in any rush.
You have reached the closing remarks. I’m taking a shower after publishing this. It took me longer than intended to type all this up because I am playing mobile games on BlueStacks. My current games are Mythic Heroes and Cookie Run: Kingdom. Part of the reason why I want to get a smaller laptop with good specs is so I can play all sorts of games in it and probably don’t have to buy a tablet anymore.
And I also got a Disney+ subscription, another addition to my boredom first aid kit to numb the pain of staying alive.
That’s all for now. 🤟🏻
